Consumptive Use Mitigation Grant Program

The Consumptive Use Mitigation Grant Program aims to fund projects that mitigate consumptive use or otherwise improve drought resilience in the Susquehanna River Basin. The Commission anticipates awarding approximately $4 million to $6 million yearly in total grant funding, with anticipated individual project awards of $100,000 or more.
The 2027 application period opened November 2, 2026, and will close at 4 pm on January 29, 2027.
